Arts Activated National Conference 2010


Accessible Arts presents the second Arts Activated National Conference: Arts – Access – Excellence. This is an opportunity for "leading thinkers, artists, advocates, practitioners and producers to create dialogue about and showcase examples of excellence in arts and disability." (Accessible Arts website).

Speakers include Genevieve Clay and Gerard O'Dwyer, (who took out the first prize in Movie Extra Tropfest 2009 with their film Be My Brother), Erin Brannigan (founding director of ReelDance and lecturer of Performing Arts at UNSW), David Doyle (Executive Director of DADAA -Disability in the Arts, Disadvantage in the Arts Western Australia) and the author of Proving the Practice) and Gareth Wreford (Executive Director of Arts Access Australia, the national body for disability and the arts).
